Great experience
I had a great experience with Metro but my experience might be different- my husband works in the hospital and we have really good healthcare insurance.
User's recommendation: Research well before you pick your doctor. I went with Metro because they have the best reputation but the downside is hard to schedule an appointment.
Poor experience
If you value your time, avoid Metro Vein Centers. I scheduled childcare and rearranged my entire morning to attend a 9:15AM appointment.
They were over 30 minutes late taking me back. After the ultrasound, I waited and waited and waited. Two hours later, I had to leavewithout ever speaking to a doctor.
I asked for the physician to call me with results and next steps. Instead, a secretary callednot the doctorand offered no guidance, just the option to book another appointment so the doctor could look at the test results.
So now, Ive wasted my morning, likely paid for a test no doctor has reviewed, and still have no treatment plan.
How is this ethical or even compliant with insurance rules?
There are many other clinics that offer similar treatment with greater respect for patients time and care. I strongly recommend you find one.
False advertisement
I had 2 procedures done and none worked. They make you think youre going to have gorgeous legs and thats not true.
They kept on telling me I had to wait 6 months and its been almost a year and my legs look the same and I still have leg pains. This treatment costed thousands of dollars and no results!
User's recommendation: Be aware that it might be a waste of money

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I did the research and mailed copies to them

- Great medical care
- Are not honest about costs up front and they lie about accepting medicare and united health care
Preferred solution: Obey the law and don't double bill me, and don't lie to future prospective patients

Verified Reviewer |Refused free evaluation lied abt insurance
When i scheduled appointment they collected insurance information n specifically i confirmed coverage and they said its covered. When i go to the first appointment they turned me down as insurance does not cover, they first said however we will get US done free of cost, later nurse takes me to a room n says these us not valid elsewhere we cant treat u here.
Did not offer free evaluation as they advertise. Waste of time n gas .
- Expensive lied abt insurance coverage
Preferred solution: Evaluate
User's recommendation: Dont recommend this center.dont waste time n money they r useless n very expensive
Insufficient examination.
I visited the Wayne facility and met Dr. Karma Warren.
I came in with concerns of varicose veins. She visually examined my legs and never performed an ultrasound. I was to return later for her to cosmetically treat my veins, however, being in the medical field left me feeling uncertain skepticism and I never returned. I later visited another physician outside of Metro Vein Center and discovered the varicose veins were a symptom of something else that required a minimally invasive procedure.
It should be standard at the door to preform ultrasounds on each and every patient that walks through the door. Luckily for me, working in the medical field and not having an ultrasound, alerted me to seek another opinion.
Awful company that has no respect for others time
Company cant be trusted. All the other bad reviews are true; you dont want to deal with this company.

Verified ReviewerUnethical
They will lie to you and waste your time. Believe the other reviews that mention the management is shady, selfish, and unprofessional.
This company is looking for people to use and abuse. They have no respect for people and it seems like they are just out to collect the money.
Preferred solution: Zero
Go to a vascular surgeon not Metrovein
Havent been able to walk for 3 weeks because of a procedure that I didnt need. Went to a vascular surgeon for a 2nd opinion and he told me that they are
money hungry. Wish I saw these reviews before going.
User's recommendation: Don’t go!
Physically and personally scared by metro vein centers NYC
I WAS a new client of MVC NYC
At first everything was going well.
I had multiple appointments, was treated by all different techs, mostly women .Sonogramed before the treatment.
I didnt have any problems, I even got
Friendly with one female tech.
I had approx 6 visits.Until i had a male tech. I saw a male item on my phone.
Thinking it funny I flashed it at the tech.
Next thing i knew my services were TERMINATED.He reported me to HR for inappropriate behavior.
I worked and with a physician for 10 years and ran a clinic. I understand the mistake and apologized for it. The next I was scheduled for a follow up.my legs now having back dots where the injections are.
So I went for the follow up.
I was monitored and treated like a convicted rapest..
I was told the dots will take months to heal. I apologized originally about the incident.
I have never in 67 years been degraded like this in my life.
This is unacceptable and intolerable!
Bad costumer service
If I could put a zero in the rating I would do it, my appointment was at 3:15, I called because I was 15 minutes late, they told me that there are no problems because they have a 15 minute late grace period, so I had to park and find the door and go up to the second floor, I arrived at 3:34 and they told me we cannot serve you, no matter where you came from, terrible customer service, and front desk with bad attitude.
User's recommendation: Any recommendations
Bad experience
Procedure performed: vein ablation. Had a really really bad reaction to lidocaine after 30 minutes the procedure started.
Ended up on emergency room. After almost 3 weeks Im still having pain all over my leg. They told me before the day of procedure that I was going to be able to work and do everything I used to do. No even close.
I am experiencing dizziness, leg pain, confusion, headache, insomnia and tiredness most of the time. very bad medical experience.
Bad Results
Noooo! I recommend this place in Coppell Texas.
The medical procedure was very painful with injections and left my veins darker, and some bruises that were never eliminated. Not good for cosmetics.
Very dissatisfied and if I paid for the section it was like a game. The wait, terrible.

Scammers
I went for a free consultation but I was s essentially forced to have an ultrasound. I only went for spider veins and nothing else.
Dr Garrison did not even look at my legs (no joke) and immediately said thats not covered by insurance which I already knew.
He then said have the ultrasound and when I hesitated because I didnt know if it was covered he said just have the ultrasound
I felt so pressured and did it. Thank God insurance covered it. Then they said I needed an ablation (procedure with the catheter in my leg that I never had any pain in) I am so upset with myself that I let them do it. They billed the insurance and got paid $4,000.
They clearly lure you in, have you do procedures you dont need to get paid by insurance. When they FINALLY got to treating the spider veins (which is all I went for) and had three treatments and they look the same or worse. The person that did the veins took pics with an Ipad (didnt even look at them next visit) and told me how improved they looked. I have a scar and small bump where the catheter was and it itched for 2 months.
Its a scam and a factory. After the procedure I never saw him again.
He makes awkward inappropriate jokes.I would never ever recommend them and I kick myself that I gave into their high pressure. Stay away!

I went for a consultation on Thursday. The girls up from were pleasant.
I was taken to an exam room and answered health questions. That is the last I saw of anyone. Went out front 40 minutes later. They were trying to tell me I had an ultrasound that takes an hour.
Never saw a doctor and they never gave me my ID or insurance card. Had to drive all the way there the next day. The receptionist said the Dr.
was backed up the past day. I told them I was the only one there and I don't appreciate them lying for a doctor who obviously could care less for their patients.
User's recommendation: There are a lot of other vein specialists out there.

Verified ReviewerPoor Results; $21k in total charges for one leg
Six months of treatment ended with completely unsatisfactory results - see picture below - can you tell which leg had $21,000 worth of treatment? Insurance covered most, but was still responsible for $4-$5K of bills for very little visible results.
- Friendly
- Expensive
- Poor results

UMR paid you 2 days before the billing date. I'm not going to spend MORE time trying to figure out what happened and talk on the phone with the Billing Dept but since most such depts are not pleasant to deal with -!
let's leave it at that - I will take the time to mail my copies of UMR's statements, with your bill, back to them.
Maybe they can figure out to update my account prior to sending another bill. Let's hope.
